Save the “Cheeeeeeese!” for your wine!

This will be the easiest photo session you’ve ever done. I promise!

There will be no scrambling to find matching (clean!?) outfits. No hustling to get everyone out the door on time. No begging anyone to stand up tall and smile. And no fears that your kids are going to melt down at the absolute worst possible time (because let’s be honest... we all know it’s coming, why not embrace it?!).

My family storytelling sessions take place where you and your family are most comfortable: inside and around your home (and anywhere else you guys might want to adventure that day!).

It might seem a little weird at first: “Soooo… we can just sit here -- being ourselves -- while you shoot photos of us?” Yep! You’ll get used to it pretty quickly!

And I’ll be there to hang out and take some amazing pictures of your family in the process. I'm not a super awkward, stand-in-the-corner-like-a-stalker, kind of photographer, either (in case you were wondering!). Part of my job is to get your kids comfortable with me, so I'll be down there on the floor playing, too.

We'll schedule our big image reveal about two weeks after our session together. That's when you'll get to see everything for the first time and get those new family heirlooms ordered and on their way to you!

Now you just need to decide how long you want to shoot together! Mini Sessions are great for babies under one, especially if you're interested in capturing a milestone, like beginning to sit or stand. Half and Full Day Sessions are perfect for toddlers and families with siblings.

Prints, albums + digital collections

I truly believe photographs are meant to be printed. How else will we hand them down to our children someday? Will DVD drives and USB ports even be around in 30 years? This is why I insist families take home beautiful, heirloom-quality products. You've already chosen to invest in your session, so why not wake up every day and enjoy your images, either on your walls or collected in a beautiful album for the coffee table! Most families chose to invest at least an additional $500-1500 in products for their homes. Shoot me a message for my full pricing guide.

I partner with a professional lab whose printers actually expose their paper to light in order to develop your images. The finish I love is called "deep matte" and it has an awesome feel and depth. All prints are matted up to the next standard size with museum quality mats.

Prices start at $45.

You’re going to have so many favorite images from your session that you'll likely find an album is a must for telling your story.

These beauties lay flat when they're open. They're customizable as far as size, cover materials and number of pages go.

Prices start at $650.

Digital Files

While I'm a huge advocate for printing photographs, I understand that we live in an increasingly digital word. You will receive the high resolution file of every image ordered as a print, in frame or as part of an album. I also offer digital collections with all of the full resolution images from your session. Pricing depends on the length of your session.
